Why are we doing a mission-focused camp?
Many students living in the suburbs have never experienced the growth and joy that comes out of serving others! Students get to see the
benefit of selflessness as they are mobilized to serve in local non-profits and schools. By attending Unleashed Mission Camp, your student
will learn how to not only be giving by serving others, but also gain confidence through building long-lasting camp friendships.
Why are we doing camp locally?
Going to a sleep away camp anywhere else can get pricey really quick. Doing camp locally gives us the opportunity to keep camp costs low and
pass those savings on to students and their families.
Unleashed Summer Mission Camp is open to current middle and high-school students. The camp is located in Pembroke
Pines, FL. Students from Broward, Miami-Dade, and beyond are all invited to attend. Middle school students must be entering 7th or 8th grade;
high school students must be entering 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, or have graduated in 2020.
At West Pines Community Church, we exist to honor God by serving our community so that they may know Christ and journey with us to spiritual
maturity. Unleashed Mission Camp is an extension of the ministry of West Pines Community Church. Along with a team of incredible volunteers,
Student Pastor Justin Chades and Student Ministry Director Angel Garcia have the privilege of leading the Refuge Student ministry.
